Introducing new payment option for your clients

We are pleased to announce that clients can now add Assumption Life as a bill to their online banking.


How to help your clients set up direct payment for in force policies.

1. The advisor will be required to provide clients with their policy number and the following customer service information.

2. Clients will need to reach out to our client service department to receive a unique reference number along with instructions on how to set up a new bill to their online banking account.

*Note: the advisor cannot obtain reference number on behalf of clients for security reasons.

  • A convenient way to pay
  • Protects the clients’ banking information
  • Flexible payment frequency - monthly, quarterly, semi-annually or annual pay are the available options (If clients select this option a premium notice will be sent with the reference number)
  • One reference number per policy


How to set up the direct payment option for new business (LIA)

  1. The advisor will select "Billing" as the method of payment and indicate "Online banking” in the special instructions.
  2. Upon acceptance of the policy, the new business department will email the set-up instructions to the client directly.
  3. The clients’ email address is mandatory if "Online banking” option is selected.
