Assumption Life transforms its line of Simplified Issue products

Moncton (NB), September 13, 2021 - Simplicity, speed and efficiency are the basis of the new product line launched today by Assumption Life. The transformation of the Simplified Issue products are designed to meet the needs of advisors through competitive rates and a streamlined process.

"Assumption Life is known for the quality of its products and we have made them even more competitive to meet the needs of our advisors. We are building on our solutions and the efficient sales process, for which Assumption Life is known, to continue offering a unique experience. In fact, in a recent survey, advisors gave Assumption Life's simplified issue sales process a rating of 4.7 out of 5. Moreover, 97% of advisors surveyed would recommend Assumption Life's simplified issue products to other advisors.

The transformation of the simplified issue product line will now include changes to Golden Protection, the launch of Silver Protection, as well as the withdrawal of the Golden Protection Deferred and Total Protection products.

Key features of the simplified issue product line include:

  • A harmonized questionnaire;
  • Simplified selection tool with integrated quote - finding the right product is fast and easy (10 minutes and done!);
  • Some of the lowest rates in the industry, especially for clients aged 45 and over;
  • Largest range of immediate coverage in the industry - Why sell deferred coverage?
  • The target clientele is people with a medical history up to age 85 (Assumption Life is the only insurer to go up to this age).

"Thanks to our Simplified Selection Tool, advisors have access to the entire range at their fingertips, allowing them pre-qualify their clients and obtain the cost of coverage in a matter of minutes. This means that clients get the best possible solution based on their health condition," added Mr. Bossé.

In July 2021, Assumption Life launched the first phase of this transformation with the Platinum Protection and Golden Protection Elite products, and the changes announced today continue this evolution.
