Moncton, NB, May 12, 2023 - Sébastien Dupuis, president and CEO of Assumption Life, has been named one of the top 50 CEOs in the Atlantic region by
Atlantic Business Magazine. This annual list, compiled since 1999, celebrates the business leadership excellence of people who grow their businesses or organizations, contribute to the advancement of their industries and give back to their communities. Those recognized in the awards were announced last night at a gala event in Halifax.

Sébastien Dupuis began his career at Assumption Life in 2001 in the financial sector and has risen through the ranks to become CEO in 2019. Under his leadership, the Acadian company has reached new heights and stands out in a highly competitive industry thanks to its innovation and agility. The company recently experienced the best two financial years in its nearly 120-year history.
Under the leadership of Mr. Dupuis, the company has undertaken a vast transformation of its organizational culture over the past year. This transformation has resulted in a greater emphasis on the achievement of objectives and the development of people, which has earned the company two awards from Human Synergistics International.
A committed citizen, Mr. Dupuis never hesitates to contribute to his community. He is currently president of the Fondation CHU Dumont, a member of the board of directors of the Atlantic Cancer Research Institute and a member of the board of the Université de Moncton.
