Moncton (NB), May 9, 2024 - For the second year in a row, Sébastien Dupuis, president and CEO of Assumption Life, has been named one of the Top 50 CEOs in Atlantic Canada by Atlantic Business Magazine. Compiled since 1999, this annual ranking celebrates the business leadership excellence of people who grow their businesses or organizations, advance their industries and give back to their communities. The winners were announced last night at a gala event in St. John's, Newfoundland.

Sébastien Dupuis began his career at Assumption Life in 2001 in the financial sector and held several positions before becoming CEO in 2019. Under his leadership, the Acadian company has reached new heights and stands out in a highly competitive industry thanks to its innovation and agility. In fact, the company recently enjoyed an exceptional 2023, characterized by outstanding sales and exemplary team commitment.
Under Sébastien's leadership, Kincentric placed Assumption Life in the top quartile in Canada with an employee engagement rate of 79%, above the Canadian average of 68%. The company also received the prestigious Culture of Excellence Award from Human Synergistics. This is the fourth Human Synergistics award won by Assumption Life in four years, after receiving the Merit awards in 2021 and 2022, as well as the Transformation award in 2020.
A committed citizen, Sébastien never hesitates to contribute to his community. He is currently President of the CHU Dumont Foundation, a member of the Board of Directors of the Atlantic Cancer Research Institute and a member of the Conseil de l'Université de l'Université de Moncton.
