Lia update scheduled for Sunday, April 25

Please note that your saved applications will be preserved, however, you will not be able to submit applications during the following period:

TIME: 7 A.M. to 2 P.M. (EST)
Following this update, you will be required to download version 10.9.2 the next time you connect to the Lia application.
Upcoming changes include the following changes and enhancements:
- Click-to-sign - with Click-to-sign your signers will sign the documents electronically, just like with our previous electronic signature, but in just one click. These types of signatures are designed to make the electronic signature process seamless and legally binding. To validate the signature, the client will have to provide their own email address, which is necessary to authenticate the signature.
- Please note that if you have a policy for which an electronic signature has already been initiated but not completed, the "click to sign" feature will not be available. However, electronic signature initiated after the Lia update will have the new click-to-sign process.
- We have made minor adjustments to the "CRA Declaration of Tax Residency" section to comply with FATCA regulations.
