Insurance premium deferrals

Assumption Life understands that some of your clients may be experiencing financial hardships due to the COVID-19 crisis. To avoid additional stress, we will offer clients temporary support measures to help them maintain their life, critical illness, and disability insurance policies.
If you have clients, including business owners, who are experiencing financial difficulties directly related to the COVID-19 crisis for any of the following reasons:
- Illness or quarantine;
- Layoff or job loss;
- Absence from work to take care of children or a family member suffering from COVID-19.
They can now request a 60-day premium deferral. If they chose to take advantage of the premium deferral they must advise Assumption Life’s Customer Service Department
no later than May 31, 2020.
This applies to life, critical illness or disability insurance policies issued on or before March 10, 2020.
