These results were released today during the company’s annual general meeting, held in a hybrid format in Moncton and online.

Financial Performance that Demonstrates the Strength of the Model
The year 2025 confirms the robustness of Assumption Life’s business model and its ability to grow while maintaining rigorous financial discipline.
Total assets have now reached $2.6 billion, supported by a strong solvency ratio of 167% and contract holders’ equity of $212 million. The company has also maintained its A.M. Best rating of “A- Excellent,” held uninterrupted for 26 years.
Sales reached historic highs, with $16.6 million* in individual insurance and $400 million* in investments and retirement solutions, demonstrating the confidence of clients and partners.

Decisive Choices to Prepare for the Future
Beyond financial results, the year was marked by initiatives that strengthen the company’s strategic capabilities.
Assumption Life continued to advance its digital platforms, Lia and Vesta, to simplify processes and enhance the experience of advisors and clients.
The establishment of new partnerships, including one with Goose Insurance Services, also reflects the company’s ambition to broaden its reach and accelerate growth.
At the same time, the company continued to invest in the human experience, notably through the rollout of the Togetherall platform to support mental well-being.

Assumption Life continues to demonstrate exceptional levels of engagement, with a score of 78%, significantly above the Canadian average.
